A professional software to finalize the most complex projects, with powerful tools available. Inserted a new great feature which allows you to design a series di coils, unit coolers, air coolers, remote condensers, dry coolers, condensing units and motor-evaporators, making possible the automatic generation of catalogues and performance tables. Included a new application that gets to manage refrigerant cycles and also the determination of coil's cost. Thanks to UNILAB COILS 6.5 Professional it is possible to match in the coil an axial fan (selected from a database), making possible to calculate the balance point in automatic way. In the same way, in case of direct expansion coil and condensing coil, it is possible to match a compressor (selected from a database), allowing the program to calculate the evaporation temperature and the condensing temperature.
Technical Specification
In Condensation modality, it is possible to make the overheating and subcooling analysis, also in addition the analysis of each phases (deoverheating, condensing, subcooling) with the calculation of each surfaces’ portions. In Direct Expansion, besides the overheating and subcooling analysis, our program allows the user to use different equations. It is also possible to calculate the flow map and to select distributors. In the Pump Evaporator, it is available a system fpr fine calibration and an alternative method for their calculations of the same.
Available a wide archive of geometries. The user may easily add in the archive new ones.
Possibility to calculate radiators with rectangular or rounded rectangle tubes
Possibility for the user to calculate coils in VERIFY (with the mandatory insertion of all geometrical data) or in DESIGN modality.
The software gives the possibilty to calculate coils that have a certain number of non fed tubes
Possibility to manage different materials such as tubes, fins and manifolds. Available in the program a wide archive of thermophysical properties of fluids (pure liquids, liquid mixtures, pure gases and refrigerants), aligned to PROP8 - NIST. Recently add new fluids (R1234YF and R1234ZF).
Unilab Coils has a tool to accurately calculate the coil's cost
This application allows the user to calculate the balance point of the coil, linking its relative axial fans and compressors.
Possibility to calibrate geometries in various points.
This tool allows the user to calculate and obtain the refrigeration cycle's diagram, making it possible to determinine their pressure drops. Furthermore, the user may easily calculate the complete refrigerant cycle of a unit composed by a condenser, a compressor and an evaporator.

The program allows the user to save projects in individual external files, that you can reopened later.
The program allows to save data outputs in Excel format.
The user may work using different unit measures. It is possible to modify them, or add new ones.
Possibility to export printouts in PDF format and WORD without any external utility.
Tool that allows to specify the project details. These information will be visible in printout.
Possibility to calculate the capacity in function of rows number, in function of the number of circuits, in function of air flow, in function of the fluid inlet temperature (fixed air – fluid delta T), air pressure drop in function of air flow, fluid pressure drop in function of fluid air flow, fluid pressure drop in function of the number of circuits, fan and compressor balance point.
Tool that allows to specify the logo. These information will be visible in printout.
The user may introduce drawings, that can be used in the printouts. The program recognizes EMF format. Possibility, with an external utility, to convert format DWG and DXF.

UNILAB provides a technical license by hardware activation. This key allows the user to use the license in every computer where the software and key are installed.
UNILAB provides the technical support only to customers with regular subscription of maintenance contract, with automatic renewal, except the receipt of written notice within 3 months before the expiring date and this annual quote covers up to a maximum of n° 3 technical licenses.
Service available only for customers with regular subscription of maintenance contract. This service is taxable to quotation, based on certain parameters such as numbers of geometries, calculation’s typologies, etc.
