Custom Geometries

UNILAB COILS allows you to calculate using any geometry and tube size (such as 7mm, 3/8 in., 1/2 in., 5/8 in., etc.) and comes with a list of more than 100 sample geometries.

New Refrigerants

UNILAB COILS comes with more than 1000 fluids and also offers the option of using New Refrigerants such as R1234yf, R1234ze, R32, R445A, R446A, R447A, R448A, R449A and many more.

Compared to laboratory tests, UNILAB COILS calculation results show a very high level of accuracy in both capacity and pressure drops, allowing you to certify your heat exchangers, fancoils or air handling units with Eurovent and AHRI at the first attempt.

In UNILAB COILS there are no limitations to calculation using new geometries, making it possible to analyse their performance before mass production begins.

COILS for automotive radiators

UNILAB COILS is also capable of calculating the performances of radiators with rectangular tubes, in both design and rating, making it possible to design or optimise radiators with linear fins to cool endothermic engines, with either aligned or staggered tubes.

The importance of certifying your products

Several of our customers have achieved Eurovent or AHRI certification by submitting UNILAB COILS software to test their units. Compared to the laboratory test, COILS results on capacity and pressure drops are within the most restricted (narrowest?) range and many of our customers have been successful in achieving certification at the first attempt.
