SELECT WITH OUR COILS ENGINE
The software allows to make in a quick and accurate way the selection and estimation of ventilated units such as Unit Coolers, Air Coolers, Remote Condensers & Dry Coolers, WITH THE SAME CORE ENGINE OF UNILAB COILS, GRANTING SAME RESULTS. These units can be analyzed at various calculation modalities (direct expansion, pump evaporator, cooling, condensing and heating), allowing you to work both in selection and in verify mode. In selection, the user can select a range of units, while in verify mode the user focuses on a single unit. During the calculation, it is possible to force the software to always use the nominal air flow, or the fan balance point. Furthermore, the calculation of the number of circuits can be done automatically. It is also possible to calculate the noise from the fan curve. There is also the possibility to insert an automatic calculation of the connections. HYBRID contains the thermodynamic properties from the REFPROP library, including the new refrigerants like R1234yf, R1234ze, R449A, R32 & more.
WHAT IS A MODULE?
Your units can be easily generated from a library of precomposed modules. Module means the insertion of a ventilation section (one or more fans), a finned pack heat exchanger section (one or more coils) and an additional section comprising the carpentry. During the calculation, the software will create the units automatically, using the preloaded modules and generation rules. By generation rules, UNILAB intends all the information needed to create the unit starting from a module. The software is really a hybrid solution, because it is capable of handling both modular and non modular units. Here you can see how the module is composed:
IT’S EASY TO DO
The creation of new ranges of units, modular and/or non-modular, is very intuitive with the EASY TO DO tool, where you can easily create new models, also compatible with the newest refrigerants. New units ranges, created with the same module logic and differing for a few elements only (e.g. fin material, fin pitch, etc.), can be rapidly replicated in one click, just changing few parameters. This means, in a simple way, that you can load just a few data for an entire series of machines, thus saving time in data entry, management and maintenance of the program. EASY TO DO allows the technical department to design new units, and manage the data that will guide the selection by the end users, distributors, sellers, agents. You can manage which types of units to show at which user level, fluids that can be enabled for each type of unit, default calculation data to be shown in the mask for each type, management of series and sub-series with insertion of images and technical drawings, management of languages and materials, management of coils, fans, adiabatic module PAD or Spray (requires additional module), management of Carpentry and coils frames, accessories + their price and their relationships with the units, manifolds and these are just some of the functions manageable by EASY TO DO

Hybrid has a standard base structure that satisfies, from our experience, 90% of the needs of a company that needs to select its ventilated units. ANNUAL CONSUMPTION CALCULATION (WATER & ELECTRICITY): After selecting or verifying a calculated unit with or without adiabatic pad, the user, from the Kw entered and the flow rate, will have a button called “economic calculation” and can perform the economic calculation by choosing the reference city profiles.
* Requires PAD and adiabatic SPRAY to be enabled.
