For the purposes of EU Regulation no. 2016/679, GDPR, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, the purpose of this document is to inform visitors to this site that the processing of personal data provided by them and acquired here will be subject to handling in accordance with the rules set out in the aforementioned Regulation in respect of the rights and obligations arising.

Type of Data collected
Through this site, and always with the free explicit consent of the person concerned, some personal data may be collected directly from the person concerned in the registration form or request for demo/support and will never be shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Source of personal data
Personal data is data that may allow to identify an individual, such as first and last name, email address, postal address and IP address. On this site we collect personal data for certain specific needs.
The personal data that Unilab Srl comes into possession of and collected by this application, both independently and through third parties, include: Cookies, usage data, email, first name, last name, occupation, province, state, country, city, website, phone number, title, address, zip code, and industry.
Other Personal Data collected may be indicated in other sections of this Privacy Policy or in other explanatory texts viewed at the time of data collection.
Personal Data may be voluntarily entered by the User or collected automatically while the User uses this site.
Unilab does not require the interested party to provide “particular” data, or, according to the provisions of the GDPR (art. 9), personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, data relating to health or sex life or sexual orientation of the person. In the event that the service requested to Unilab requires the processing of such data, the interested party will receive prior information and will be asked to give his consent.
Any use of cookies – or other tracking methods – by this Application or by third party service providers used by this Application, unless otherwise indicated, is aimed at identifying the User and recording his preferences for purposes strictly related to the provision of the service requested.
Failure to provide certain Personal Data may prevent this Application from providing its services.
The User accepts responsibility for the Personal Data of third parties published or shared through this Application and grants to have the right to release or disclose it, thereby releasing the Data Controller from any liability to any third party.
Modality and location of Data processing
Modality of data processing
The Controller will adopt appropriate security measures when processing the Users’ Personal Data in order to prevent un-authorised access, release, modification or destruction of the Personal Data.
The treatment will be carried out using computer and/or telematic systems, using organisational methods and procedures closely connected to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Controller, in certain cases, other categories of personnel involved in the organisation of the site (administrative, commercial, marketing or legal staff and system administrators) or external operators (such as suppliers of third-party technical services, courrier company personnel, IT companies, communication agencies) also nominated if necessary, as Responsible for Data Processing on behalf of the Controller. The updated list of those nominated as Responsible may be requested from the Controller of Processing at any time.
The personal data provided will be subject to processing operations in compliance with the above mentioned law and the obligations of confidentiality which inspire the activity of the Controller. The data will be processed both with IT tools and on paper and on any other type of suitable support, in compliance with the appropriate technical and organizational security measures provided by the GDPR.

Time
The Data will be held for the time necessary for the provision of the service requested by the User (‘conservation limitation principle’, Article 5, GDPR), or required for the purposes described in this document, and the User may request the cessation of Processing or the cancellation of the Data at any time.
Purposes of the Processing of collected Data
The User’s Data are collected in order to enable the Controller to supply his services, and for the following purposes: Stastics, Contacting the User and Interaction with social networks and external platforms.
The types of Personal Data used for each of these purposes are indicated in specific sections of this document. The data is used by the Controller to process the registration request and the contract for the supply of the selected Service and / or Product purchased, manage and perform the contact requests submitted by the interested party, provide assistance, fulfill the legal and regulatory obligations to which the Controller is subject in relation to the activity carried out. Under no circumstances does Unilab sell the personal data of the interested party to third parties nor use them for undeclared purposes.

Mailing list or newsletter (This Application)
On subscription to the mailing list or the newsletter, the User’s email address is automatically entered into a list of contacts to whom email messages also containing commercial or promotional material regarding this Application may be sent. The User’s email may also be added to this list following registration for this Application or after making a purchase.
Personal Data collected: city, surname, Cookies, Usage data, email, nation, name, profession, province, gender, website and state.
Contact form (This Application)
The User, on compilation of the contact form with his personal data, consents to their use for the purpose of responding to his requests for information, providing estimates or any other matters indicated in the headings of the form.
Personal Data collected: Postcode, city, surname, email, address, nation, name, telephone number, profession, province, company title, gender, business sector, website and state.
Interaction with social networks and external platforms
This type of service enables interactions with social networks, or with other external platforms, to be carried out directly from the pages of this Application.
The interactions and information acquired by this Application are in any case subject to the User’s privacy settings relative to each social network.
In cases where a service providing interaction with social networks is installed, it is possible that, even if the Users do not use that service, the service may collect data regarding traffic relating to the pages in which it is installed.

The LinkedIn social button and widget are interactive services for the social network Linkedin, supplied by the LinkedIn Corporation.

The services contained in the present section enable the Data Processing Controller to monitor and analyse traffic data with the purpose of keeping track of the User’s online activity.
Google Analytics (Google Inc.)
Google Analytics is a service for web analysis supplied by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses Personal Data collected with the purpose of tracking and examining the use of this Application, compiling reports and sharing them with other services developed by Google.
Google could use the Personal Data to contextualise and personalise advertising from its own advertising network.

The User’s Personal Data may be used in the Controller’s defence in court or in the preparatory phases of any such procedure, or to protect from abuses of the same or of correlated services on behalf of the User.
The User declares that he is aware that the Data Controller could be required to reveal the Data if requested by the public authorities.
Specific Information
On request of the User, in addition to the information contained in this privacy policy, this Application could provide the User with additional, concurrent information, relating to specific services, or the collection and processing of Personal Data.
System log and maintenance
As a result of requirements relating to operation and maintenance, this Application and any third party services used by it could collect information contained in the system Log, the files which register interaction and which may also contain Personal Data, such as the User’s IP address.

The Exercising of Rights by Users
Persons referred to in the Personal Data have the right at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of that Data from the Processing Controller, to know its content and origin, and to verify its accuracy or request its amendment, cancellation, update, correction, or conversion into anonymous form, or to block any Personal Data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose in any case, with legitimate reason, their processing. Such requests must be made to the Processing Controller.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), any data subject may exercise the rights provided for in relation to his or her personal data held by Unilab Srl:

- Cancellation (art. 17 EU Regulation no. 2016/679);
- Limitation (art. 18 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679);
- Portability, understood as the right to obtain from the data controller the data in a structured format in common use and readable by an automatic device to transmit them to another data controller without hindrance (art. 20 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679);
- Opposition to processing (Article 21 of EU Regulation No 2016/679);
- Withdrawal of consent to the processing, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent acquired before the withdrawal (art. 7, paragraph 3 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679);
- Propose a complaint to the Guarantor Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (art. 51 EU Regulation no. 2016/679).

This Application does not support “Do Not Track” requests.

Modifications to this privacy policy
The Processing Controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time, and will give notice of these to Users on this page. We therefore ask that you consult this page regularly, using the date of the last modification indicated at the bottom of the page as a guideline. In such case as the User does not accept modifications made to this privacy policy, the User is bound to forego use of this Application and may request that the Processing Controller remove his Personal Data. Unless otherwise specified, the previous privacy policy will continue to apply to the Personal Data collected up until that moment.

Personal Data (or Data)
Personal data consists of any information relative to a physical person, identified or identifiable, also indirectly, through reference to any other information, including a personal identification number.
Usage Data
This is the information collected automatically by this Application (or by third party applications used by this Application), which include: IP addresses or dominion names of computers used by the User when connecting with this Application, the URI notation addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier), the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply from the server (successful, error, etc.) country of origin, the characteristics of the browser and of the operative system used by the visitor, the various time connotations of the visit (for example the time spent on each page) and details relating to the itinerary followed inside the Application, with particular reference to the sequence of the pages consulted, the parameters relative to the operative system and the User’s IT environment.
User
The individual who uses this Application, who must be the Interested party or authorised by the same and whose Personal Data are subject to processing.

The physical or judicial person, public administration, or any other organization, association or body charged, also together with another controller, with making the decisions necessary for the purposes, the methods of personal data processing and the instruments used therein, including the security profile, in relation to the operation and use of this Application.
