Shark Build 210320 – Parallel Units

A new update of UNILAB Shark is available! Build 210320 is available for all users under regular technical support, who can now download this latest version.

The new Shark update, Build 210320, contains the possibility to manage units in parallel. In case of Air-Water Chiller, with or without Free Cooling, the following window will appear in the bottom left corner. It will then be possible to manage 2 Chillers in parallel.

By entering the quantity of chillers, and indicating those actually active, at the end of the calculation the “Multi Unit Results” for the units in parallel will appear in the results box on the right.

In the case of two parallel chillers, the water flow rate will be divided symmetrically between the two evaporators of the two units, and it will be possible to perform the simulation with one unit on and one off.

This update also contains minor bug fixes and general improvements in performance and stability, and is strongly recommended to all Shark users.
