Promotional gadgets: which to choose to improve marketing
Even if, up until recently, promotional gadgets were a luxury item only used by larger companies, today they are literally within the reach of everyone:Â sometimes handy little items such as USB pen drives are used, while sometimes, more substantial gifts are used as a way of thanking clients, employees and suppliers.
According to who will receive the gadgets, there are different reactions and objectives:
- the associate or employee views the gift as an incentive to work harder and better each day;
- the supplier interprets it as a thank you for his daily work;
- and the client considers it a nice way of being pampered and improving their loyalty.
However, other than making their recipient proud, how can promotional gadgets be exploited as a way of sponsoring the company offering them? It is all down to the choice of what you want to give people: these articles can cost very little while still being very effective, but the important thing is that they should be well chosen.
Our first piece of advice on how to pick the right gifts is to divide the recipients into specific groups (clients with certain preferences will be in different groups from clients with other preferences). In addition, it is important to remember that the gift must reflect the company’s image and message, while reinforcing relations with its clientele.
Make sure you have the gadgets customized with the company logo (do not cover the entire gift with the logo as that might seem like you want to push your marketing too much) and also remember to change the item offered each hear (so as not to appear too monotonous or lacking imagination).
Furthermore, it is advisable to choose useful gadgets which will actually be used by their recipients:Â this encourages people to have their company publicised inadvertently but frequently, so that its name becomes known and as widely circulated as possible.
These are our precious tips for choosing your company’s promotional gadgets: small gifts suitable for any occasion to be fully exploited in order to obtain visibility and consideration, in return for the investment of an often negligible sum.
