The new 2021 update of COILS is a Major Update. Unilab COILS Build 210224 introduces the new COILS suite, a single platform that integrates our Design, Sales, and Production tools into a single tool, whose modules can be purchased separately. Customers in regular technical support will be able to download this new build, which will unify all tools under one software(*).

DESIGN: The DESIGN module allows, in 6 different modes, the calculation of the coil in verify mode (known the geometric and thermodynamic characteristics, the software gives the data related to the maximum performance that the coil can guarantee at the same conditions) and design mode (given a treatment to be realized, and fixed the geometric characteristics required, the software provides a list of usable solutions leaving to the customer the possibility to select the most technically suitable solution).
An expandable geometry archive and a constantly updated fluid and refrigerant compartment make COILS an essential tool for the technical office. The COILS DESIGN module is available in 3 versions:
SALES: The sale module is structured in bundles that can be distributed to the sales network, and allows to create and exchange independent calculation projects with the technical office.
The logic used in the development of this module is very simple: it provides customers who are already using COILS successfully, with one more simple tool that can be used by their own sales network and/or customers. Its use means that both customer response times and the workload of the technical team are greatly reduced.
Thanks to the sales tool, your internal and external distribution network can create calculation projects independently and completely bypass the technical department, which can then focus all its attention on new product development.
The tool allows you to independently manage up to 12 geometries per calculation mode → 72 different possible combinations.
The interfaces are particularly simple and user-friendly: it is a simplified version of COILS, and therefore the ideal operational tool for distribution to sales teams, agents or customers.
PRODUCTION: The PRODUCTION module of COILS, starting from the project created with the DESIGN module, generates the sheet metal drawings of the coil and allows editing the frame, and the automatic creation of the circuits, with the generation of a bill of materials with the number of hairpins, U-bolts, weights and material prices.
