C&R Madrid: 16th to 19th November 2021!
For several years now, C&R has been considered the most important Spanish trade fair in the HVAC&R sector; it is one of the key events where companies can embrace exciting new business opportunities by building highly beneficial, long-standing partnerships.
The convention’s two particularly strong features are that as well as attracting air conditioning and refrigeration experts from all over the world, it also acts as a showcase for the presentation of avant-garde services, latest generation products and innovative technologies.
C&R figures and the post Covid-19 relaunch
C&R’s influence on the HVAC&R sector is reflected in the figures registered during the last edition in 2019. According to the data, the event managed to attract around 374 exhibitors and hosted 54,781 professionals from over 88 different nations.
This year, the in-person event will be held in Madrid from 16th to 19th November inclusive, so it will offer a great opportunity for the air conditioning and refrigeration sector to re-emerge following the lengthy pause imposed by the recent Covid-19 pandemic.
During that two-year period of inactivity, IFEMA and the C&R Organisational Committee have been working closely together to ensure the whole convention is completely safe and risk-free, in full compliance with current anti-coronavirus regulations.
The event has therefore been updated and re-designed to provide a warm welcome to both companies and individuals, effectively transforming it into a platform from which to relaunch the entire HVAC&R sector.
A trade fair where safety is a priority
The relevant authorities gave the go ahead for C&R 2021 once the organisers had shown them that all necessary precautions had been put in place. IFEMA even received AENOR certification for the hygiene and healthcare measures and protocols implemented to safeguard against Covid-19.
This official award guarantees that trade fairs, congresses and other events held on the premises fully respect the anti-Coronavirus guidelines established by the Ministry of Health, autonomous communities and local authorities. The institution has thereby become the first Spanish trade fair operator to be awarded this important commendation.
The city of Madrid has also bestowed on IFEMA the title ‘Garantìa Madrid’, in recognition of the work they have done in order to meet the regulations introduced following the pandemic. In addition, the World Travel and Tourism Council (or WTTC) awarded them ‘Safe Travels’ status, a certification designed to ensure a responsible and risk-free return to business.
These awards highlight the efficiency of the strategies adopted regarding the safety and mobility of participants at these events, as well as transparency in the sharing of information such as entry checks, venue capacity, social distancing, hygiene and cleanliness.
What can we expect from C&R 2021?
The 2021 edition of C&R will be characterised by a radical transformation of the events, combining in-person and digital formats. Hybrid panels will form part of the essential measures necessary to ensure the event is held correctly, but they will also guarantee that all exhibitors get the opportunity to make new contacts through several different communication channels.
The first big event in this sector for HVAC&R industry professionals since the beginning of the pandemic is finally here and the work carried out by the organisers reflects how everyone is ready to get back to business with enthusiasm, energy and determination.
