Unilab Gas Cooler: the new software for the transcritical calculation of Co2 gas coolers.

Unilab is proud to announce that Gas Cooler, its new software for the design and rating of Co2 Gas Coolers, is now available!

Gas Cooler allows the user to quickly perform the transcritical calculation of the Co2 gas cooler, obtaining its thermal capacity from just a few input data.

The user can edit the most common geometries, add new customized geometries with an easy to use wizard, and edit tubes and fins materials and thickness, as seen in other Unilab software.

The automatic and manual calculation of manifolds is also an included feature in Gas Cooler.

After the calculation, by clicking on “Print”, Gas Cooler will provide a detailed output results printout, with a detailed temperature trend chart and a table summarizing the trends of the thermodynamic properties along with the heat exchanger performance.

All the output printouts, as in all Unilab software, can be easily exported in .PDF format, with just a click.
