COMMERCIAL SELECTION SOFTWARE: WHAT IS TRUE UPDATE?
TrueUpdate is the tool for the management of automatic reminders, available on demand for selection software as UNILAB X-SHARK and UNIT SELECTOR HYBRID.
This useful tool helps the Customer managing automatic reminders to agents, distributors, sales etc, through pop-up messages alerting the user a new update of the selection software is available.
TrueUpdate helps you remind all end users (i.e. your sales, agents, distributors) to verify whether new releases of our Unilab selection software are available for the download. This tool is very useful because by receiving periodical reminders, all end users will not forget to download the latest available release of your commercial software.
HOW IT WORKS
- UNILAB will provide on demand the “TRUE UPDATE” tool, and create a custom pop-up message according to the customer requirement. With a frequency defined between the end user and Unilab, a pop-up message will appear to the sales agent, reminding him to verify the presence of new available updates. As indicated, the Customer will indicate the content of the message (see below for an example)

- every 15 days
- every 30 days
- every 45 days and so on
2. Before providing this service, Customer must be in possess of a virtual space (Cloud Services are available from Microsoft Azure, Aruba or other suppliers), i.e the customer server, where the Customer expressly saves the latest setup of the Selection Software & links it to the TRUE UPDATE tool.
- The end user (agent, distrubutor, sales) runs the Selection Software, and with the agreed frequency, a pop-up message will appear, reminding the end user to verify whether a new update of the software is available.
The TrueUpdate is a useful tool because, if your sales still uses an old version (perhaps with outdated prices, accessories or units), the pop-up regularly invites them to check and download the latest available! Without you having to do it.
While other customers prefer to inform personally all end users about the presence of a new setup available, other companies prefer to enable this tool for automatic reminders (pop-up messages).
