SHELL WEB: Our New ONLINE Design & Rating Software – Come visit us at ACHEMA 2024
Come by Unilab’s booth at ACHEMA 2024, *Hall 6.1 Booth C25* and discover our new ONLINE SOFTWARE FOR SHELL & TUBES HEAT EXCHANGERS!
Many companies cannot afford the high costs of major shell and tube heat exchanger calculation software. Especially when you only need to perform a few calculations each year, being independent is crucial. It allows you to calculate whenever you need, without having to rely on and pay consulting firms to perform the calculation, which can often be costly and time-consuming for a single project. By handling your own calculations, you gain the freedom to manage your tasks autonomously and affordably.
With this in mind, Unilab has developed SHELL WEB, Unilab’s Design & Rating as a Service platform. SHELL WEB is Unilab’s new Online Software for the design and rating of Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers accessible via Browser, from any device (PC, Mac, Tablet or iPad) enabling you to perform design from scratch and rating of shell and tube heat exchangers independently. No installation required—simply log in to a secure area with your username and password, and you’re ready to go.
SHELL WEB allows you to design & rate in 10 different calculation modalities: fluid-fluid, condensation inside tubes, condensation outside tubes, evaporating inside tubes, flooded evaporator, spray (falling film) evaporators, steam inside tubes, steam outside tubes, and the new CASCADE evaporating shell side – condensing tube side & cascade condensing shell side – evaporating tube side.
All projects are stored in your dedicated personal area or can be downloaded locally and saved in a file to be loaded when required.
The software allows the automated design of a new heat exchanger from zero (Design from Scratch) without specifying any dimensional parameters: simply select the fluids, set the temperatures and required capacity, and the software will generate in a few seconds different design solutions of high-efficiency heat exchangers that achieve the required capacity, within the pressure drops limits.
The software produces the output of the calculation + TEMA printout, exportable in different formats.
