COILS 8.0 – BUILD 191011 – ADP & BYPASS FACTOR INTRODUCTION
We are pleased to announce you that Build 191011 of COILS is available to download for users under regular tech support. A big introduction has been implemented in this build for all users to benefit from. We have modified the Coils DLL calculation engine to introduce ADP (Apparatus Dew Point temperature) and bypass factor formula based on the work of R V Simha and Australian airah (airah.org.au) – see sources for info.
We introduced the bypass factor value calculated with the Dew Point temperature according to the formula:
In the coils printout, you will be able to find the bypass factor BF, and the ADP value + BF in the info button.
How to find it? Let’s see a quick guide. After Calculation, please click on Calculate – Details
And you will find the ADP temperature.
Under additional tech data, the required info will be displayed.
This feature is available in all COILS versions from STANDARD to ENTERPRISE.
