2017: A year to remember
2017 is now towards its end, and it’s time to sum up 12 months of achievements for Unilab, which has reached its 30th anniversary. This year, Unilab has grown tremendously, both professionally speaking, and in terms of turnover and personnel. The sales team has grown in the first months of 2017, with two new sales development specialists.
Unilab has also increased its international presence, expanding the already rich portfolio of more than 60 countries that have chosen to use our software. We have acquired some big names among our customers in the HVAC & R scene across the Atlantic. Our new salespeople have added Japanese and Russian to the languages already spoken by our staff. One of the news was in fact the translation of Unilab Coils into Japanese! We acquired two new sales agents, respectively for China and the United States. There was no lack of trade fairs this year: some of us participated as visitors, while others as exhibitors. Climatizacion y Refrigeration IFEMA Madrid, ISH Frankfurt, China Refrigeration 2017, drinktec Munich, all of which have allowed us to meet new customers and develop new solutions.
2017 also saw the launch of this Coffee Break Blog, whose main purpose is to provide a digital coffee break for those who follow us, alternating light articles with technical information, heat transfer articles and news from Unilab and the HVAC world. We want to continue along this path, providing good news and showing our customers that Unilab is not only a software house, but a firm point to rely on, a reliable partner, competent in the field and able to speak their own language. Moreover, through the thermodynamic technical language, we have shown that we can find a solution to your needs together.
Speaking of software, this year we have introduced three important innovations. The first is Units Selector Hybrid, Units Selector’s major release, a radical step forward in terms of speed, new features and ease of use. You can find the main advantages of Hybrid in this short video.
The second is Evaporative Condenser, the new Unilab software for the calculation of evaporative condensers, the first fundamental piece of our Tower Suite.
The third is Gas Cooler, Unilab’s innovative software for the transcritical calculation of Co2 Gas Coolers.
