Unilab presents the new LT-HT module for COILS! The new module is able to calculate two COILS in series on the air side and in parallel on the fluid side!
We are proud to present a state-of-the-art solution that will allow our customers to save even more time in their daily calculations. Given the great demand, we have introduced the new LT-HT module for coils, which is part of the new package of Special Applications dedicated to finned pack heat exchangers, and can be purchased separately in combination from the PROFESSIONAL version on up.
What does this application consist of?
It consists of two coils heat exchangers (In 98% of cases LT-HT is made with two coils, although the program can handle virtually more than two) generally heating coils, which are in series on the air side, i.e., with air flowing through both, and in parallel on the fluid side, i.e., fed singly, e.g., with one coil fed with water and another with a mixture of water and glycol. Since they are heating coils, so with the air heating up, the fluid inside will cool down. So the air enters inside the first coil, so the first fluid will be a low temperature fluid (LT really means LOW TEMPERATURE, it makes the first section, enters at say 20°C, and exits at say 60°C, going into the second coil (HT, so HIGH TEMPERATURE). The program allows, by giving the inlet and airflow conditions, to take the temperature coming out of the first LT coil, making it become the inlet temperature in the HT. The module is already available and will be presented at the ACHEMA fair in Frankfurt.
