UPDATE COILS: Build 200402
A new UNILAB COILS update is available! Build 200402 is available for all users under regular technical support, which can now download this latest version by clicking on the “Update Unilab Coils 8.0” icon.
The update allows you to enable or disable in verify mode, in the lower part of the screen reserved for geometric characteristics, the automatic calculation of skipped tubes.
The number of skipped tubes is obtained by multiplying the number of rows by the number of tubes per row, and dividing it by the number of circuits. Then, if we multiply the number obtained for the number of circuits, I will obtain the number of total tubes actually fed, and I will be able to see the skipped ones.
An example: in a 4 rows and 40 tubes coil, with 22 circuits, by doing the indicated calculation, I will obtain a number of 6 skipped tubes.
How does it work? If you don’t click on auto, you will be able to manually enter the number of skipped tubes as usual.
By setting the flag on “Auto”, instead, the software will automatically calculate the correct number of skipped tubes.
This update also contains minor bug fixes and general improvements in performance and stability, and is strongly recommended for all users.
