Chillventa 2026: Unilab will be there at the international meeting point for the future of HVACR technology
From 13 to 15 October 2026 we’ll be in Nuremberg: once again, Unilab will be at Chillventa, the international trade fair held every two years at the NürnbergMesse exhibition centre, which remains one of the key reference points for the world of refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps.
For us it’s a fixed date on the calendar and one we look forward to: three days to meet in person with customers, partners and industry professionals interested in the solutions we develop for refrigeration, air conditioning and system-analysis specialists.
Why Chillventa 2026 will be one of the most important events for the HVACR industry
The event is aimed at manufacturers, distributors, designers, installers, engineering firms, energy consultants, maintenance professionals and decision-makers, all looking for the most innovative solutions to improve the performance, efficiency and sustainability of their systems. With companies from numerous countries taking part, the fair offers an extremely comprehensive overview of technologies for residential buildings as well as commercial and industrial applications.
Forecasts point to more than a thousand exhibitors and tens of thousands of qualified visitors: numbers that confirm Chillventa’s central role on the international stage. It’s not just a large trade show — it’s a place where innovations are unveiled, project experience is shared, and the industry’s main challenges for the years ahead are discussed. That’s exactly why we make a point of being there.
One of the things that makes the event particularly interesting is its ability to bring together, in a single setting, all the key technologies for temperature control and efficient energy management. Commercial and industrial refrigeration, air conditioning systems, mechanical ventilation, components, automation, control systems, heat pumps and insulation materials all find their place in an exhibition designed for professionals from different but increasingly integrated supply chains.
Innovation, sustainability and energy efficiency as central themes
European regulatory developments and growing attention to decarbonisation are profoundly reshaping the HVACR market, and the fair will devote considerable space to technologies capable of cutting energy consumption, reducing environmental impact and improving overall system efficiency.
Heat pumps will continue to be one of the most relevant topics, given their strategic role in the energy transition. Alongside them, new refrigeration systems will be presented, built around low-climate-impact refrigerants: solutions designed to meet the latest environmental regulations while delivering strong performance.
Significant attention will also go to system automation. Smart sensors, remote monitoring systems, digital building-management platforms and supervision software make it possible to optimise how installations run, cut waste and schedule preventive maintenance — an area we follow closely, since it sits at the heart of much of our day-to-day work.
Digitalisation is now a fundamental part of the industry. The integration of connected devices, the Internet of Things and data analysis helps monitor system behaviour in real time, improving reliability, safety and longevity. At Chillventa we’ll have the chance to compare notes with other companies that, like us, work on these applications for both large industrial facilities and civil buildings.
Another area of interest is indoor air quality. Following recent years’ events (starting with the Covid-19 pandemic), the topic of environmental comfort has become central to building design. Advanced ventilation systems, air filtration and humidity control are increasingly in demand in schools, offices, healthcare settings and modern homes.
Congress, training and international networking
One of the event’s distinctive features is the extensive programme of side events running alongside the exhibition floor: workshops, conferences, technical forums, hands-on demonstrations and expert meetings dedicated to the key topics of the HVACR industry.
The well-known Chillventa Congress will offer in-depth sessions on regulatory developments, new technologies and design best practices, bringing together researchers, universities, trade associations and leading companies in the market — a learning opportunity that, for us, matters just as much as the exhibition itself.
The training side is one of the main reasons we take part: installers and designers can learn about new installation methods, deepen their understanding of emerging technologies, and better grasp the opportunities created by the growing integration between building systems and electronics.
Just as important is the networking side. Events of this scale make it possible to build new business relationships, strengthen existing ones and create opportunities with partners from different markets. For us, meeting customers, distributors and other manufacturers face to face remains one of the main reasons we come back to Chillventa edition after edition: it lets us gather feedback from the market, observe industry trends and get an early read on where investment is headed in the years ahead.
Unilab in Nuremberg: we’ll see you there
We’ll be at Chillventa 2026 with our own stand, ready to meet the people who already work with us and anyone who wants a closer look at the tools we develop for refrigeration, air conditioning and system-analysis professionals.
Anyone who stops by our stand will be able to see our solutions in action, watch live demonstrations and speak directly with our technical staff to understand how they apply to their own operational context. It’s the kind of exchange that works better in person than anywhere else: you start from the real needs of the people in front of you and quickly get to which tool is the best fit for that specific need.
Being present at an event like this, alongside the other Italian companies taking part, is also a way to keep reinforcing our country’s role on the international HVACR stage. Innovation, reliability and quality remain the fixed points we build every product on, and that’s what we’ll be bringing to Nuremberg.
Over the coming weeks we’ll be publishing several posts giving you a preview of what we’ll be presenting at the fair: stay tuned.
See you at Chillventa 2026, 13 to 15 October in Nuremberg!
