CHILLVENTA ONLINE: what to expect from 13 to 15 October
Chillventa 2020 will be online: after numerous adjustments, program changes and hopes of not having to postpone the most important international event dedicated to the air conditioning and refrigeration sector, official confirmation from the organizers has finally arrived.
It will be called Chillventa eSpecial and will be held from 13 to 15 October, live streaming on a platform specially prepared for the occasion. The project director, Daniela Heinkel, has assured that the use of special features (capable of ensuring a high degree of interaction) will give the participants the same experience they are used to.
How Chillventa eSpecial will be structured
The Covid-19 pandemic, still not completely under control, forced the organizers of the most important European HVAC fair to create a virtual version of it, so as not to have to cancel it completely.
The biennial event is a point of reference for most of the companies operating in the field in question: a place of meeting and comparison, which cannot fail for the good of the whole sector. The solution to overcome the impossibility of creating assemblies is therefore a Chillventa 2020 entirely online.
NürnbergMesse (the body responsible for organizing Chillventa) claims that the exhibition will keep its spirit and charge intact, even in virtual form. This will be possible thanks to a platform specially developed to enable exhibitors and visitors to have a direct comparison (as is usually the case at the Nuremberg exhibition site).
Chillventa eSpecial will open with a general congress on 13 October, while the other two days will be reserved for conferences of participating companies.
Hi-tech interactions for online event participants
Thanks to the numerous features present in the platform that will host Chillventa 2020 online, it will be possible for participants to carry out various operations. A matchmaking system, for example, will allow users to receive appropriate suggestions (according to their needs) on the conferences to follow, with related contacts.
Various integrated communication systems will also be available to interact directly with potential clients, business partners and exhibitors. To these will be added other comparison options not yet specified. From what we can see, therefore, it seems that the willingness to ensure an interaction as close as possible to that on site will be fully respected.
Meeting the needs of the community
Among the motivations that drove NürnbergMesse to work hard to create a Chillventa 2020 online was the pressing demand from the HVAC community. Exhibitors, companies and customers have been clamouring for the creation of a platform in which they could easily discuss their issues and the invitation was undoubtedly heeded.
They needed a place where they could talk freely about new technologies, innovative products and alternative approaches. According to Director Heinkel, the platform developed for Chillventa eSpecial will be able to offer all this without betraying expectations.
The digital interaction on 13 October will therefore represent the beginning of a new way of talking about air conditioning and refrigeration. The hope is that, thanks to easier networking, we will be able to take refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps to a new level of communication.
It will be very interesting to see how participants will take advantage of the features available to them, how many and which contacts they choose to interact with and how the approach to the companies, the products discussed and their buying and selling will change.
