Chillventa 2024 will take place from October 8 to 10 in Nuremberg, marking a recurring event that, due to its features and expectations, is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated in the HVAC sector (refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pumps).
On an international level, it has long been a true point of reference, capable of attracting professionals and commercial enterprises from all over the world.
Highlighting its undeniable importance, this year, the fair will even be preceded by the Chillventa Congress: an unmissable opportunity for industry experts to gain updates, held on October 7.
An Event of International Scope
The 2024 edition of Chillventa stands out for its international reach, with 75% of exhibitors coming from over 50 countries. This strong global participation confirms the central role of the event as a networking and knowledge exchange platform for the worldwide community in the sector.
Organizers expect to welcome around 930 exhibitors and more than 30,000 professional visitors (a significant increase compared to the 2022 edition). Daniela Heinkel, director of Chillventa NürnbergMesse, emphasized that this growth, in addition to benefiting the fair itself, also represents a positive sign for the entire industry it serves.
Key Themes and Technological Innovation
The central themes of Chillventa 2024 will focus primarily on issues such as sustainability, digitalization, energy transition, and the use of refrigerants—topics that, while diverse, are incredibly relevant and have the potential to profoundly shape the future of the sector.
The event will offer a comprehensive overview of components, systems, and applications for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pumps. The latter, in particular, will take center stage, as they play a crucial role in the decarbonization of buildings and industrial processes.
The congress preceding the fair will delve into these themes, exploring topics such as energy efficiency, circular economy, and heat pumps for industrial and commercial applications.
The most recent developments in energy-efficient air conditioning for data centers will also be presented.
The Chillventa CONGRESS and Technical Forums
As mentioned, the Chillventa Congress will be a one-day event featuring prominent international speakers. The congress will focus on:
• The eighth Innovation Day for Refrigeration Technology, which will focus on energy efficiency and climate protection.
• The ASERCOM + EPEE Symposium.
During the three days of the fair, four technical forums will take place, each focusing on specific aspects of refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pumps. In over 200 sessions, speakers and experts from leading companies will present the latest innovations and solutions in various fields.
Topics covered in the forums will include heat pumps, low-GWP refrigerants, and digital technologies to enhance business efficiency and productivity.
Additionally, Chillventa 2024 will provide an important showcase for young companies and innovative start-ups. In Hall 9, within the START area, international start-ups will have the opportunity to present their innovative products and services. This initiative is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, which has created a dedicated area for “Young Innovators,” giving newly founded German companies the chance to showcase their ideas to a specialized audience.
